Wiki Update
Open Source Mission is a new ministry that aims to apply the collaboration tools of the 21st-century to the challenges currently facing the global church.
Our first project is a wiki called GospelTranslations.org, which is our humble contribution toward the theological equipping of Christians around the world. You can read more about it by following the links under "Translation Project" on the menu to the left, or just click over to gospeltranslations.org to see the project for yourself.
GospelTranslations.org began making some of its translated materials publicly available in late January, and today we launched our resource pages for 2 more languages, bringing the total to 5:
- Spanish
- French
- Bahasa Indonesia
- Russian
- Chinese
Keep an eye on the wiki for other languages coming soon: Italian, Portuguese, and Arabic.
Our wiki at GospelTranslations.org has now been online for 3 months, and today we launched a new, simpler homepage that we hope will make it even easier for translators to get involved in our projects.
Other behind the scenes updates to the wiki include:
- New editing tools for increased accessibility
- A large number of articles being uploaded for our translators to easily access
- Easy to use templates to add a consistent look across the site
Keep checking the wiki for other more regular updates!
